Move On from Trauma & PTSD

Trauma or P.T.S.D can result after being involved in, or witnessing, traumatic events.

If you are suffering with P.T.S.D it’s common to have nightmares or flashbacks and you might feel isolated, irritable and guilty.

P.T.S.D is most associated with ex-military personnel but can occur in people of any age, including children and adolescents. More than twice as many women as men experience P.T.S.D following exposure to trauma. Depression, drinking or other substance abuse, or other anxiety disorders frequently co-occur with P.T.S.D.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is an condition that you might get after a serious and frightening experience, including:

  • a disaster like a fire or flood
  • war
  • terrorist attacks
  • serious accidents or trauma
  • seeing someone die, or
  • violence against you

P.T.S.D makes you re-live the event, which causes distress and difficulty in your day-to-day life. Your symptoms may become worse if you see, hear or smell something that reminds you of the trauma as a result you may experience emotional numbness sleep disturbances, depression, anxiety, and irritability or outbursts of anger.

We can help to disassociate you from the P.T.S.D event, so it has less power over you, the event still happened but it no longer affects you in the same way.

P.T.S.D can be treated by correcting the ‘various imbalances’ in the body.

Treatment:
Our Comprehensive treatment process helps to correct the underlying areas of Imbalance within the body, hence why we achieve such great results with Trauma/PTSD and related conditions. We recommend an initial treatment of just 4 hours to begin with, you can then assess the level of improvement over the next 3 to 4 weeks and decide if any further treatment is required.

Client Feedback:

‘I’m Jayne and for many years believed I was going through the menopause, days when I had no energy, felt everyone around me was enjoying life and I was just existing, no motivation and no interest in life whatsoever, was crying, felt unloved and so on. However, I was later diagnosed with PTSD, Anxiety & Depression nothing to do with menopause at all. The nightmares, flashbacks etc were all due to my childhood trauma which can hit you later in life, I’d seen doctors, counsellors, therapists, group therapy but nothing seemed to work. I phoned the clinic and spoke to a man on the phone who booked me in at Wakefield, Melanie was welcoming and never judge me and showed my kindness when I was at rock bottom. After treatment I seem to change, I was calmer, didn’t have any moods, wasn’t crying and can honestly say in a month I’ve had no nightmares or flashbacks. I now dive my car and doing voluntary work, things are looking up. My eating has improved, I’m keeping busy with a more positive outlook on life. I’m so glad I reached out when I did, thank you to the man who took my call and Melanie too. I would certainly recommend this treatment to anyone whom has suffered in the past like myself, it may be the best thing you do because believe me, for me it certainly was. Thank you all again’.* Jayne

‘Since the treatment I have noticed a positive change in my mood. I am much less emotional and feel more positive about things. At the time of my appointment, I was actually signed off work and I have managed to make a successful return to work since. I would recommend this treatment to anyone who is considering it. My treatment was for depression, anxiety & trauma’*. Emma

‘I began to have a change in my approach to daily life about 2 weeks the PTSD treatment, it was remarkable. I have felt better, lighter (emotionally) and have been more assertive and begun to work towards my home ready to sell. Thank you’.* A Lloyd

‘We have been using the equipment and methods with our veterans for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and for the associated conditions such as drinking abuse, anxiety and depression. The results have been fascinating, outstanding in the simple and quick application and the virtually immediate results, flash-backs have diminished, a feeling of reduced stress, sleeping patterns are back to normal and problems with anger management issues have almost disappeared’. * Veterans Charity

‘I had treatment in Watford for PTSD, Depression and Anxiety, amazing! For the first time in 6 years the ‘anchor’ and ‘black’ heavy feeling (pulling me down) in my stomach has gone. When my mind thinks of the traumas, it remembers but only connects to it for a few seconds, then reverts to another thought. More than anything the deep pain I felt in my body and heart, the ‘painful’ feeling has gone. I’ve had counselling and been on anti-depressants for all these years and I was in a ‘haze’ brain fog just struggling through the days. Now my mind is clear and I feel hope again. My anxiety is still present and I’m practicing mindfulness and EFT to try to control this, the anxiety is not as acute as it was before. Your treatment is quite simply, a miracle! It is pioneering, innovative, non-intrusive and effective. I am happy with the results so far and feel 70% better than before the treatment. There is now light, when there was so much darkness. Thank you’.* Sharon

‘I would just like to start by thanking you again. I haven’t felt this good since last year. I haven’t had a down day since the treatment for PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. Things are all on track and I also started a new job renovating a hotel. I would just like to thank you again, the treatment has been amazing and 100% worked for me. Kind regards’.* Dale

‘Thank you so much for the PTSD treatment. It has made a huge impact on my life. I feel so much better in myself and much happier. The voices have gone and so have the nightmares. I noticed the difference straight away feeling happy and positive for the future. This treatment has truly helped me. Thank you.* Fatimah

‘My son was suffering with Anxiety & Depression for various reasons, also loss of grandparent & PTSD from recent attack. He was on medical leave from armed forces and needed urgent help while waiting for a psychiatric referral, he attended treatment for 4 hours last month and he is now feeling much better and back to normal working duties so I cannot thank you enough’.* JF

‘‘I was a serving soldier and injured in a bomb blast in the middle east over 10 years ago now and as a result suffered with PTSD at times this was terrible. Something I could not explain that was in my head, I couldn’t figure it out. A kind of dull niggle inside that led to horrible feelings at times and could quite often bring on a spell of depression, anxiety and very dark thoughts. I was functioning quite well sometimes, but I was not living well. This in turn led to some heavy drinking abuse and very bad choices. So, I had this treatment, after only a very short time, I am very different, and not in a kind of spring to my feet and sing from the roof tops kind of way but much subtler. After treatment I still know the traumatic events have happened, but I no longer think about them and if I do then they come and go in a moment and no longer cause me any problems. I don’t feel depressed, anxious or down in any way, my relationship with drinking has changed dramatically. I am making better choices and actively driving my life and in every way my life is improving. It has been 6 months since I sat in that chair and the changes have been permanent and irreversible, I now feel optimistic and hopeful, I have plans and vision for the future again, I have started exercising again like I used too, I have lost weight, started new hobbies, traveled to different places and many other changes that simply would not have happened before. With every positive gain there is a greater uplift and motivation to improve and do more, its truly remarkable. I don’t know how it works and I don’t care really, I just know it does. I know other people in the same situation and recommended this treatment to a fellow veteran (a friend in fact) who was also suffering from severe PTSD and excessive drinking and he too has seen amazing results post treatment greatly reducing his drinking intake and being able to get over the trauma of his experiences. His life has improved greatly for the better since treatment. Thank you’.* Ex-Army Sergeant P.S.

‘Both myself and my wife Paula have already had treatment in Dorset for Depression and my wife for Fibro & PTSD from which we are doing really well and have both improved around 75% and would now like our daughter to have the same Fibro & PTSD treatment’.* Regards Nigel & Paula

‘I would like to say after receiving my PTSD treatment in Colchester a month ago, I did experience a real ‘calm’ while sitting in the treatment chair and also felt extremely relaxed too. That evening on arriving back to my hotel, I had the most relaxed and peaceful sleep that night, something I hadn’t experienced in months. It has been over 4 weeks since my treatment, my family have noticed my energy levels have shot up and I’m 84. So all in all I’ve seen good progress. Kind regards’.* Roy

‘I just want to say thank you so much for the amazing PTSD treatment. Before I went in to see them my life felt upside down I had no future. I was not eating or sleeping and was very depressed and was deteriorating slowly day by day. I booked in for PTSD treatment it was so relaxing, I was there for 2 hours and when I come out I felt amazing I was on top of the world and day by day now I’m getting better and better my life is back on track again. I can’t thank you enough you truly are a miracle’*. Edward

‘I am still aware that all these things have gone on in my life but I cannot reach out to them at all, if I try to think of an incident that happened I can only see it for seconds then it disappears and goes somewhere, I’m not sure where it goes it just goes!!!!!! The only way I can explain is that the things are like bubbles and when I re-live them they just burst and are gone and my mind cannot go back to them. My anger seems to have gone away in 24 hours. I am very interested in your treatments and your work and I am so very grateful and won’t forget your kind words and logical advice. With warm regards and thanks‘.* Jo Broadbent

‘I have undergone the PTSD treatment in London and have been amazed (in a good way) by the results. I’m eating normally and sleeping like a baby. Most importantly my thoughts of ‘the incident’ have faded, instead of focusing on the mental picture it just comes in my mind and pops back out however I’m not paying it as much attention (unconsciously) as well as being able to look to being optimistic about my future. The answer is in ourselves however this treatment is the MIRACLE I was looking for. My only regret is I did not do it sooner‘.* Yogi B
